The Sustainable Functional Materials 2018 conference will focus on the issues around maintaining an environmentally-friendly, sustainable and economically viable functional materials and device industry.

Topics include:
- materials and devices
- functional properties and characterisation
- sustainability and risk
- scale-up of processing and manufacturing techniques

Organisation:
The conference is organised in conjunction with the research projects 'Manufacture of Safe and Sustainable Volatile Element Functional Materials' (MASSIVE, https://www.surrey.ac.uk/massive-functional-materials) and 'Substitution and Sustainability in Functional Materials and Devices' (SUBST, https://www.sheffield.ac.uk/materials/research/subst).
