Webinar - What Can Energy Harvesting and Wireless Sensor Do For You?

Date added: Tuesday 13th March 2012

IDTechEx invite you to join Dr Harry Zervos from IDTechEx for a free webinar on Tuesday 20th March, when he will ask: What Can Energy Harvesting and Wireless Sensors Do For You?

Dr Zervos will be tackling some of the following topics during this 30 minute presentation:

* What is energy harvesting: Basic definition of the technologies encompassed by the term Energy harvesting

* Main technologies: A brief overview of some of the main characteristics of multi-modal, piezoelectric, thermoelectric, vibration, solar energy harvesting and wireless sensor networks (WSN) technologies.

* Applications-Systems integration: What applications in which verticals already utilize energy harvesting? How are energy harvesters integrated into full systems? How do energy storage devices and low power electronics developments fit in with increasing uptake in different verticals?

* Market Forecasts and prospects for growth: Current market size and expected growth in the next decade. Applications in booming sectors, new products becoming possible, new enabling technologies leading to further penetration of these emerging technologies.
