Apoideas Limited is a Cambridge based technology and services company that have developed a Low Energy Cellular (LEC) Platform for wireless sensing. The LEC Platform is an end-to-end telemetry solution. At one end we supply the communications terminal device hardware that has a well defined interface for connecting sensors and actuators. At the other, the Apoideas server gateway provides data delivery and device management services to customer (third party) applications via http.

The LEC Platform is ideal for any application that require things to be monitored and controlled in a remote location or situation where power supply or battery life of the terminal device, cost, ubiquitous coverage and or time to market are an issue. It can be used by system integrators and product developers as a component in large bespoke monitoring & control networks (such as the mandated smart metering rollouts across Europe and America) or in standalone wireless sensing products. Apoideas also work directly with industry and infrastructure owners to deliver customized wireless sensing solutions and products based around the LEC Platform. For more information about the LEC platform please see www.apoideas.com.
