Biography
Yu Jia has an MEng Electromechanical Engineering from University of Southampton and PhD in Engineering from University of Cambridge. Prior to joining Aston, he was a Lecturer, Senior Lecturer and then Associate Professor at the University of Chester between 2015 and 2019, leading the Smart Microsystems Research Group. His research interests include Energy harvesting, MEMS, vibration, smart systems and composites. He is also a co-founder of 8power Ltd.
