Midé Technology Corporation is smart technology engineering company based in Medford, Massachusetts (USA). Founded in 1989 by its current President Marthinus van Schoor, a former MIT Professor, Midé develops, produces, and markets smart technology products and materials - primarily for the marine, aerospace, automotive, research, and manufacturing industries. Our products include: Volture™ piezoelectric vibration energy harvesting systems that convert vibration into useable electrical energy; Slam Stick™ vibration recorders, which are data logging USB sticks that contain a 3 axis accelerometer, signal processor and data acquisition unit all in one. Our other piezoelectric technologies include QuickPack™ piezoelectric transducers for sensing and actuating, and SHIVR haptic piezoelectric actuators.
