The BioRobotics Institute is an integrated system aimed at innovative research, education and technological transfer. The Institute wants to act as a linking bridge to international centres of knowledge and to create a new concept of engineers that are scientists, inventors, entrepreneurs, able to invent and solve problems, and to create new companies in high technology sectors (biomedical engineering, microengineering, robotics, mechatronics).

Biography
Majid received his B.Sc and M.Sc in Electronic Engineering from K.N.Toosi University of Technology, Tehran, Iran in 2006, and Tabriz University, Tabriz, Iran in 2009, respectively. He also joined Arta Industrial Group in 2007, and started to work as a Chairman of Electronics Department in Arta Plast factory. During working on his M.Sc thesis, Majid countinued his contribution to Arta Co just as an Electronics Expert.
He has been in the Micro-BioRobotics center of IIT since Nov 2010, pursuing his graduate studies as a PhD student at Scuola Superiore Sant�Anna, Pisa, Italy. Majid�s thesis is focused on Developing Self-Powered Devices.
