Institute of Technology Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) is one of two state universities specializing in engineering and technology education in Indonesia. Founded in 1960 and located in Surabaya, ITS now hosts around 20,000 students, ranging from vocational three year programs, BSc equivalent four year programs up to PhD programs.
Department of Electrical Engineering is the largest department in ITS with about 3,000 students and 100 lecturers, 30 of which hold PhD degree.
Research on wireless power harvesting in the department has been conducted since 2011 resulting tens of undergraduate thesis projects and graduate research, supervised by Dr. Eko Setijadi and Dr. Wirawan, from Multimedia Telecommunication study program.
