STE engineering, part of the STE holding, is the higly qualified engineering branch dedicated to innovation in data telemetry with particular care to extreme low power consumption wireless sensors. Since it was established, STE engineering main core business is the definition and development of energy efficient wireless sensors applied to industry such as healtcare, automotive, security and logistic. STE is owner of a new patented innovative approach to energy efficient sensors named micro.sp (formerly SPX technology) and since the '98 has promoted the development of and highly integrated sensing machine for the "intelligent tyre". STE claims to be producing the smallest ever wireless sensor for tire pressure monitoring system and whose energy consumption has been measured of 3 orders magnitude power less than other existing solution.
