Biography
Mr. Panduranga Vittal Avvari (Vittal) is presently a PhD research scholar at The School of Civil and Environmental Enginnering, Nanyang Technological University. He obtained his bachelors from Andhra University, India and Masters from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, India. His present research interests include Structural Health Monitoring, Energy Harvesting, Non-linear Dynamics of and Applications of Energy Harvesters.

Biography
Mr. Tang Lihua obtained his Bachelor and Master Degree from Shanghai Jiaotong University, majoring in mechanics. He started his pursuit of Ph.D Degree in Nanyang Technological University in Singapore in 2008, focusing on energy harvesting techniques for low-power electronics. Two journal papers have been published on this topic. He are now interested in the nonlinear effect of the energy harvesting system and autonomous frequency tunable mechanism for vibration-based energy harvesting, which are the challenges for practical deployment of energy harvesters.
