Biography
Rolanas Dauksevicius received PhD degree in mechanical engineering in 2007 from the Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) in Kaunas, Lithuania. The thesis was devoted to numerical modeling and experimental testing of contact-type MEMS actuator. He is currently working on design, modeling and simulation of vibrational micropower generators. His main research interests include theoretical and experimental analysis of dynamics of mechanical systems with emphasis on MEMS devices, in particular, microstructures operating in impact-mode.
