Workshop 3: Call for Topics

"A key Network activity is to hold 3 themed workshops, exploring technological challenges and application domains. These each inform a roadmap report, which is published to inform research funders (e.g. EPSRC, MRC, EC FP7, TSB) and act as a focus for proposals. The Network has held 2 of the 3 Workshops, on themes of Human-Powered Electronics and Structural Monitoring. We are interested in your suggestions for the third Workshop, please use this forum to suggest themes for consideration."

A suggestions for the theme of the third Workshop would be technologies and challenges around the management of harvested energy / low power system approaches / interfacing & integration

I am currently researching commercially available sensors, devices and systems for a client in the aerospace industry to be powered by Energy Harvesting. I have found that there is a lot of work going on in research and by commerical companies. So I suggest Energy Harvesting in aerospace technology and applications for the workshop.
