Abstract: The selected car is a commercial vehicle (VW Transporter van) with a 5-cylinder diesel engine. The engine speed is relatively low, varying between 1500-2500 rpm. The van was driven between two junctions of the M32, in a loop, with two roundabouts at each end. Restart engine at 11:31:27. Traffic is picking up. Stopping at roundabout's traffic light. Stopped at second traffic light before joining the motorway. Stopping on the 'hard shoulder' for acceleration, reaching 60 mph then heavy breaking for the traffic light. Stopped at the traffic light before rejoining the M32. Slowing down, going on side shakers then accelerating up to 60 mph. Stopped at eastgate roundabout traffic light. Moving slowly around the car park. Start time: 11:31:00, finish time: 11:42:00.
